Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I believe they can inspire us to be better people, to be kind, compassionate and loving. It's my passion for helping animals, that drove me to open Waterford Stables and consequently, inspired me to write Bitzy's story.
Life had seemingly given up on her, but Bitzy didn't give up on life. Despite an injury she obtained at a young age, she learned to live with her disability and grew up to become a happy, healthy goat.

My Inspiration

The idea of being able to inspire young children to show compassion towards not just animals, but especially those that are in some way injured or disabled, fuelled my ambition to publish Bitzy's story.
Sometimes, all it takes for us to succeed, is for someone to believe in us and see beyond our differences.
I'd hope that Bitzy's story inspires children at an early age to be kind, to understand the struggles of living with a disability and above all - That being different, is so much cooler!
